[PHOTOSTORY 2: MOTION] Savannah Ghost Pirates Hockey Hosts Off-Season Private Game

Patrick Guay warms up for an exciting private event for Ghost Pirates season-ticket holders. Guay is in his second season with the Ghost Pirates hockey team.


Ryan Sullivan takes the face-off. The Jacksonville Icemen lead the Ghost Pirates heading into the second period.

Ryan Sullivan wins a face-off. He tries to give the Ghost Pirates an opportunity to score.

Kyle Jeffers redirects as Jacksonville's McRae sends the puck the length of the ice. The Ghost Pirates hope for an icing call. 

Kyle Jeffers anticipating a pass from Logan Drevitch. The Ghost Pirates hope to score to tie the game. 

Logan Drevitch is pushed from the goalie crease. Drevitch puts pressure on Icemen defensemen Chukarov.

Defenseman, Andre Anania adjusts his chin strap. After a heated outburst of fighting on the ice, Anania gathers himself.

Ryan Sullivan redirects on the ice, causing a miniature snow flurry. The sharpness of movements from the pro hockey players can create captivating carvings on the ice. 

Devon Paliani anticipates a pass from Evan Nause. Paliani is often seen applying pressure in front of the goalie's crease.

Seth Fyten eagerly awaits the face-off. Fyten is then seen on the wing of the face-off circle, ready to score.

Christophe Tellier blazes down the ice past two Jacksonville defensemen. He looks for an opportunity to pass the puck to help his team gain the lead in the third period.

Keaton Pehrson rests between line changes. Pehrson is a signed to the American Hockey League's Charlotte Checkers organization.

Christophe Tellier awaits a face-off pass from Devon Paliani. Paliani and Tellier are a powerful duo in the face-off circle.

Liam Walsh observes Logan Drevitch and Kai Schwindt make effortless passes. Walsh is one of the leading forwards for the Savannah Ghost Pirates.

Christophe Tellier is seen breaking through the chaos. His stick accidentally intertwines Keaton Pehrson's.

Keaton Pehrson races backwards to prohibit McRae's goal attempt. Pehrson's efforts helped immensely. 

Seth Fyten battles for the puck. Fyten is always "fightin" for a chance to score.

Ryan Sullivan awaits a referee's tripping penalty call. The penalty was granted to Jacksonville's Duhart.

Evan Nause and Keaton Pehrson are seen racing down the ice to catch Nick Granowicz's breakaway. Granowicz and Pehrson are former University of Michigan Men's Ice Hockey Alumna.

The Jacksonville Icemen and Savannah Ghost Pirates ignite the beginning of third period face-off. The Icemen proceeded to win this face-off.

[PHOTOSTORY 1: OUTDOORS] A Touristic Afternoon on River Street

Plant Riverside District on Savannah, Georgia's River Street draws attention with historical smokestacks. The 176-foot smokestacks serve in remembrance of a previous power plant, now a site consisting of hotels, restaurants, and a rooftop bar.

Savannah Souvenirs advertises items with vibrant sign admits River Street. This establishment is great for finding keepsakes as reminders for tourists' visit to the Hostess City.


Savannah Trolley Tours advertises famous trolley rides with carts located throughout River Street. Tours help boost small business engagement. 


Savannah Trolleys offer a variety of tour times for those visiting Savannah to ride along and learn about the city. The trolleys make their way through the areas that make Savannah special, including River Street.
 


A boat statue featured on River Street as a fountain overlooking the river. Many individuals stop here for photos and read about the history of transportation and logistics on River Street. 


Chart House restaurant highlights its food offerings. River Street offers a wide variety of food choices for all those who visit. 


Plant Riverside is a booming addition to River Street. Those visiting can find a variety of restaurants, hotels, activities, and museums in the heart of Savannah.


Visitors use the Plant Riverside map and directory to make their way through the extensive River Street. The vast offerings of the area can often leave visitors at a loss of where to begin.


A smiling dog is seen strolling the cobblestone streets. River Street is for all- children, elderly, families, friends, and furry friends.


Savannah, Georgia's River Street boasts of its diverse greenery and shrubbery. Through design choices, the street aims to bring nature and greens to a rather brick-filled area. 


A large ship passes through the renown Savannah bridge. Sight-seeing the variety of ships and boats that make their way through the water-way is a highlight of River Street.

A tug boat is seen returning from its journey accompanying a large container ship. The tug boat will continue to chauffeur these massive ships all day.


A palm leaf shields visitors from the blazing sun. These large leaves are dispersed throughout the street. 


A customer is showing interest in purchasing sail ship memorabilia at a River Street pop-up shop. Small businesses are at the heart of Savannah.

The iconic Savannah Queen is a highly sought after excursion for visitors. This ship serves as transportation across the river for some, and as a way for discovering the city for others. 



A brown bird is enjoying the breeze from the riverfront. Even with much industry and brick surrounding River Street, there is no lack of nature and animals. 

A couple and their furry friend take a break from their trek down River Street. The couple shares a laugh.

A pair of friends enjoy a well-deserved ice cream on a hot Savannah day. River Street Sweets is a must when visiting Savannah, Georgia.

More furry friends enjoy the scenes of River Street. A nice stroll down River Street to end a long day in the day of a hardworking dog. 

Some friends enjoy a drink during a warm Savannah evening on River Street. The outdoor bars make for lovely scenery.
