[ENVIRONMENTAL PORTRAIT 2] Monique Miller

By: Martin Yates

Monique Miller works for the crime scene investigation unit for Stockbridge police department

"This is the job that I have dreamed countless nights to have as a little girl. I always tell people that ask me what my why is. why do I choose to wake up and do the job that I am so blessed to have? I do this for two reasons, if I don't than who will. and secondly I love the thrill that comes behind catching someone doing wrong. yea some nights I don't sleep due to the criminals still being on the loose, but I sleep even better when I do catch those criminals and bring peace to the families that may have lost someone. You're in school to become a Sports Analysis, never let someone else tell you that you can't achieve that because if you let the world tell you who you are you'll never know who you are".

"I've been doing this for over 12 years and I love being able to help people and put smiles on people's faces, but it's not the only thing I want to do," White said. "I want to start my own business and be my own boss. I believe there's nothing like your own. And when I say that, I mean the time and energy I'm putting into someone else's company making them a fortune, I could be putting that same positivity, time, energy, and effort into my own business so that my family can have the same."

Seeing the look of awe and happiness on a customers face when their products get delivered. [ENVIRONMENTAL PORTRAIT 2] Cecilia Pate's Chicken Coop

 By: JB Ricks

Cecilia or "Ceal" Pate outside her chicken coop in Grovetown, GA.

Ceal built this chicken coop with her husband Rick, it took about a month to make and the best part about it was, "Going from a stack of boards from something that looks functional and is beautiful.”

Some other shots I took that I thought looked cool. The Rooster on the left is Rubio and he has to be the most charismatic chicken I've ever met in my life, I should've done my portrait on him instead.
