Peyton Yarbrough is a co-owner of Posh boutique in downtown Statesboro, Georgia.
"I moved here for college for Georgia Southern and I was trying to find a job, and I applied to tons of boutiques and tons of places and nobody was hiring. I couldn't get a job and my mom was also trying to get a job. And we figured, well, we were actually riding by the storefront and I said it as a joke. I was like, 'Why don't we open up a boutique?' I was trying to get her into it and I would have never thought that she was actually going to do it, but we met with the owner of the building and we just kind of went from there. We kind of jump-started into it, and it was the worst time to do it because of quarantine. COVID, it had just started happening. But it's been super fun and me and my mom do it together."
