Julissa Rodriguez is an alumnus from Georgia Southern who is seeking her master's in biology and chemistry. She is currently doing research on the COVID-19 virus.
"I am a student researcher, working with nanoparticles, trying to find a way to disintegrate the virus from the inside so that the nanoparticles go inside the virus. Then that will get rid of it from the inside, and I hope that is a lot better than fighting the virus on the outside."
