Geri Kirkland (left), River Street Sweets employee and college student, shares her personal sweet choices from the menu are "the ice cream is my favorite and strawberry cheesecake." Kirkland has worked at River Street Sweets for a little over three years. This location is at the Tanger Outlets Mall in Pooler, Ga. The company has been around since 1973 and is known for selling handmade southern candies. Their pecan pralines are marketed as world famous and is a stop for many Savannah tourist as they walk by River Street.
