 Tennis: A Dog's Favorite Sport

Senior exercise science major, Diego Castro-Diaz, takes the tennis court to practice his serving. Castro-Diaz's favorite time to play is at sunrise or sunset.

Castro-Diaz's pet Labradoodle, Harriet, accompanies him at the tennis court. Like most dogs, she loves a bouncy tennis ball.

Harriet keeps her eyes on the tennis balls as Castro-Diaz prepares to serve. For Harriet, tennis is just an intense game of fetch.

Harriet brings Castro-Diaz back a tennis ball from the other side of the court. He refers to her as his 'ball girl'.

The one-year-old Labradoodle waits for her owner to start serving again. Castro-Diaz said that she loves the tennis courts even more than the local dog park.

Castro-Diaz switches sides of the court. This is so he doesn't start to favor one side of the court over the other.

A tired Harriet greets her owner. She's been slower to retrieve the tennis balls after bursts of intense running.

The pair pick up tennis balls together. It's a race to see who gets one first.

Both tired now, the pair runs back after picking up some of the stray balls.

The pair get ready to end their time at the courts. Although, they'll be back tomorrow.
