[PHOTO STORY 3: A DAY IN THE LIFE] Boutique Beauty

20. Abbegail helps a customer purchase their items. Purchases are easy with their iPad system.

Abbegail Dekle, Athens native, opens up the store for her Friday shift. 
She started working at fringe for a summer job.

Fringe Boutique is a clothing store in Athens, Ga. 
It is located in the heart of the downtown area. 




3. Abbegail organizes the racks. She makes sure all the sizes are in order. 
5. The accessories are also organized. Some of the accessories are placed around the store with coordinating pieces. 
14. Abbegail captures sneak peaks of Fringe. These are posted daily to the Fringe instagram. 

4. Abbegail color codes the racks. Every section in the store is by color pallets
8. Abbegail cleans up the dressing rooms. If customers do not like what they
tried on they leave it in the rooms. 

9. Abbegail returns the clothes to their spot in the store. Employees have to memorize where every item is located on the floor. 
10. Abbegail checks inventory. If a customer is looking for a specific size, Abbegail tries to locate it for them. 
11. Abbegail helps another employee with packaging. Every purchased item is personally wrapped in store. 
12. Abbegail packages purchased items. Customized Fringe bags are given to the customers. 
13. Abbegail helps new employees learn the ropes. Hunter started work today at Fringe. 
16. Custom stickers are placed on the bags. All of the wrapping has the fringe logos on it. 

7. Poorly folded clothes are resteamed. This helps the folding look pristine.





17. Abbegail organizes new pieces. New releases are placed on the floor at the end of the week.

15. Abbegail restocks the wrapping station. Backup bags are always in stock in the store. 
19. Abbegail assists customers by placing their interests in dressing rooms. This is the main part of her job after maintenance has been settled for the day. 

18. Abbegail steams all of the unreleased clothing items. This prepares them to be organized and released.
