Jessie Tucker, 21, is a student at University of Miami. Jessie has multiple hobbies, two of which are art and photography.
Jessie sets up her area to show off some of her artwork and continue working on a piece as well. She enjoys working outside in nature.
Jessie begins pulling artwork out of her portfolio. Her portfolio holds her own individual works, over 20 pieces alone.
Jessie shows off her watercolor and ink drawing based on a sketch she took. She made this by starting with watercolor, adding salt to it, and then finishing it with ink.
Jessie shows off artwork of a sketch she took of props. The artwork is white charcoal on black paper.
Jessie shows off a portrait of her classmate Ashley. Jessie won a scholastic gold key for this piece.
Featured here is her white charcoal on black "Drinking Buddies," inspired by her concentration for a drawing class. This piece won her her first award... a scholastic silver key.
Jessie points and describes some additional artwork she created. Jessie enjoys the white charcoal on black method and utilizes it for the majority of her work.
Jessie works on her current portrait of her brother Lucas. She is using the fine tipped charcoal pencil to add some finishing touches to his face.
Jessie concentrates as she blends the area she just marked. Using the blending method, Jessie blends the white charcoal in to match the rest of the portrait.
Next Jessie moves on to adding some final touches to the ear. Detail is extremely important according to Jessie.
Jessie works on the outline of Lucas. She is using the blending stick to blend in where she just added white charcoal.

Next, Jessie begins pulling out pictures she took with a Polaroid. She uses the polaroid because of convenience and she likes how the color-bordered pictures come out.
Jessie points to her favorite shots. She loves the vintage aesthetic of these types of pictures.
Jessie takes a picture of model Claire to give us an example of her process. She gave the picture to Claire to keep as a memo!
