How I encountered this stranger was, on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 I was driving through my neighboorhood and I seen this landscaper and thought to myself, I'm sure this guy could give me some information or has a story of how he started to landscape. Darryl Green is a 42 year old man that throughly enjoys transforming "a rugged portion of land into something beautiful" said Darryl. I explained that I was doing this photo for a class assignment and as I asked him for a photo, I wanted the photo to capture him working while being visible to those viewing the image. I asked Darryl what his Why is?
"Well... its something that drives me in wanting to make others happy, I don't so much do this for money, but I do it to better my community. I am a retired navy seal, so I'm pretty straight, you know, financially so doing this is more of a act of service more than looking to get rich. because I know I'm not getting rich off cutting grass, but I bet I make 100s of individuals happy with the work I put out. This for me is almost like just an exercise that works in others favor" said Darryl.
