[PHOTOSTORY 2:MOTION] Moving in a face paced environment

 by: Ivey Grace Smith

Here is a Back of House Team Member breading the delicious chicken that we all love. There are several steps that go into this process and here you can see he is prepping the flour.

Step 2: As you can see, you have to first pull apart the chicken breast to make them larger. This is a very essential step in how to chicken will fry in the cooking process.

Next, you have to smoother the chicken in milk that is mixed up by our Back of House workers to ensure to chicken taste just the way we like it.

The last step, breading the chicken. This is the last step before any of the chicken is cooked.

Moving over to a different station. This is the eggs that is placed on biscuits in the mornings. 12 eggs are cooked at all times to ensure the fast service.

He is pictured flipping the eggs here. They lay flat within the edges of the metal as you can see, but once they get a certain temperature they have to be flipped.

Here they go into the bin to take to the front part of the kitchen as they are now ready to be served to the customers.

Here we have moved of to what we call the "breading table." This table is strictly for raw dough to be placed on and a station for our biscuits to be rolled out on. As you can see here one of our Back of House Team Members is gathering the dough out of the bowl to prep.

Here he is padding out the dough to get all of the lumps as they say out of it to make sure the biscuit taste the best.

One of the most fascinating steps to me. Here, as you can see - he is rolling out the dough once more to make it even thinner that way it can rise properly.

He has to then roll the dough in the opposite direction to make sure it is as large as it can be.

This is where you see the tasty goodness come to life. The final step before they hit the oven,  rolling them out.

And, here they go. He is perfectly placing them onto the pan. As you can see, not one is separated on the pan - it's said to be a Chick-fil-A secret.

This is one of the most important steps. The person on dishes makes sure all of our dishes are really clean to be able to cook in.

This is transitioning
more into to lunch, but still apart of a the breakfast to-do list. We have a Back of House body cleaning the lettuce up.
Bright and early for one of the busier days of the week, Friday. We call these our outside "Runners."
