[PHOTOSTORY 3: ADITL] Working after Work

Scott Jenkins backing up his work truck after returning home from work. Scott runs a local lawn care business in Covington, Georgia. 

Scott examining his trailer filled with lawn tools. Scott would tell me that he has "ran this business for five years now."

Scott backing his lawn mower off of his work trailer. He would state, "You caught me on one of the days where after a long day of cutting other folk's lawns, I got to come home and cut my own."

Scott riding his lawn mower in his backyard. He would tell me that he "cuts his grass about once a week."

Scott continues to trim the grass in his backyard. "It normally only takes me about ten minutes to cut the whole backyard."
Scott removing the leaf blower from his work trailer. "Blowing off the grass cuttings is one of my favorites parts of my job. It's so satisfying watching all the grass disappear."


Scott putting on his backpack leaf blower. "This [EXPLETIVE] hurts the [EXPLETIVE] out of my back."

Scott blowing grass clippings off of his back porch. "The grass gets stuck in all sorts of places that you would never expect to find it."

Scott grabbing a cold beer out of his truck. "I love Yingling because it's American owned."

Scott cleaning his pool liner with a pool brush. Algae and dirt accumulate on the pool liner, so brushing it removes the abnormalities."

Scott taking a break to take a sip of his beer. "That hit the spot."

Scott removing leaves from his pool trap. "I normally have about one or two frogs in here."

Scott grabbing his bucket of antioxidants to put in the pool water. "This stuff helps this pool from getting any dirtier than it already gets."

Scott organizing his pool deck. "I've spent a lot of days out on this blue float."

Scott taking a break to sit down after a long day of working. "My legs are killing me."

Scott running towards his pool. He told me prior to this shot, "get a few cool pictures of this dive."

Scott suspended in air as he dives in his pool. He claims to rarely dive, but wanted to see how the photos would turn out.

Scott breaking into the water as he dives into the pool. He would scream, "kowabunga" prior to jumping in.

Scott submerging under the water after his big dive. He would come up and spit a mouthful of water out of his mouth.

Scott enjoying his evening in the pool after a long day at work. "This is the best part of the day"
