The first step in Nelly's daily routine is waking up and going outside. The waking up part is not her favorite.
Nelly is now ready and waiting to go. The only thing stopping her from getting outside is her owner taking pictures of her.
Nelly and her favorite toy Gus the Eagle. Not a morning goes by where Gus doesn't get tossed around, lifeless throughout the backyard.
Alright play time is over. It has gotten too hot, and Nelly is ready to come back inside.
Nelly's mid-afternoon walk! This is her chance to get a good look of the neighborhood and make sure everything is up to her standard.
Quick pit stop to see the neighbors. They play their video games while Nelly looks for something to get into.
The neighbors though it would be funny to dress Nelly up. They seemed to find it more amusing than she did.
Finally back at the house! Walk is over, now time to roll around and itch that scratch.
Walk is complete. Now it's time to relax in the sun and enjoy the belly rubs!
Okay enough of that! It is too hot again, let's go inside.
Post lunch nap outside on the picnic table. Enjoying the breeze without a care in the world.
The sound of a car door closing and keys jingling causes Nelly to jump up. She looks on with anticipation and excitement.
Look it's Brooks! Nelly's favorite playmate and best friend Brooks just stopped by to catch up and play for a few minutes.
A very action packed day so far for Nelly. She puts her hand out elegantly to shake as her owner asks "Do you want to go on a ride?"
Wide eyed and eager Nelly puts her feet on the console. Standing as high as she can to try and see where they are going.
Windows down, hair back, music up, Nelly is ready to go. Propping her head on the window sill as the breeze blows in her face.
Still tired from her long day Nelly naps on the couch while the rest of the houses winds down their own days. After a visit from her friend, a walk to the neighbors, and a ride around town she is ready to throw in the towel.
A huge stretch as Nelly is woken up from her late nap. She has to go outside and use the bathroom one more time before going to bed.
Tired as a dog! Nelly seen so worn out she has passed out on the back porch deck and has no intentions of coming inside.
After tons of pleading Nelly is finally convinced to get up and come inside. Completely exhausted from her day, she lays right on top of her owner, snuggling up to the blanket, and falling asleep to the background noise of the television.
