My dad, Todd Gay, when he was a young boy. He was just like anyone else.
My dad, Todd Gay, today. He had to get his leg amputated due to cancer when he was just 15 years old.
Todd walking up the stairs using his crutches. Even though he is a pro, he still struggles getting up and down stairs.
All of the medicines my dad takes every day. He has not only survived bone cancer, but also kidney and colon cancer.
Todd taking his daily medicines. Not only does he have to take medicine every morning, but also every night.
Todd turning on the shower. He takes a shower every day before he puts his prosthetic leg on.

Todd making sure his leg is on correctly. He has to make sure it is a perfect fit or it will bother him all day.
Todd using a grabber to get down a sweatshirt from his closet. It is too hard for him to climb on a ladder, so he has to use one of these to grab things that he can not reach.
Todd putting a sock on his prosthetic leg. It is hard for him to do this because his prosthetic leg does not bend at the knee.
Todd struggling to get his shoe on his prosthetic leg. This is always very difficult because there is no ankle or foot flexibility on a prosthetic leg.
Todd making sure everything looks alright. After he gets his shoes and sock on, he has to make sure everything is good.
Todd getting into his car. He has to use his upper body strength to help pull himself up on to the car.
