Ryan Brooks, a NYC local and Georgia Southern student, is playing outside with his friends. As the weather warms up, getting outside is one of Brooks' favorite things to do.
Ryans football lays in the grass after someone misses a catch. Although his girlfriend is the one that lives here, he often comes over to play outside in their backyard.
Gabby Winklepleck, a Georgia Southern student and roommate of Ryan's girlfriend, skillfully throws the ball back to Ryan. Football isn't her best sport, but Gabby gives back a good throw.
Ryan throws the ball to Makalah, his girlfriend's roommate. As a Georgia Southern hockey player, Ryan enjoys playing sports and being active, especially with friends.
Gabby's roommate, Makalah, steps in from sitting on the porch sidelines. Makalah throws the football one time, giving it her best shot.
Ryan's football flies through the air. It's a sunny, windy day in Statesboro, perfect for outdoor sports.
Switching to playing volleyball, Gabby, a former volleyball player, is excited to show off her skills. Ryans girlfriends dog, Georgia, a mini golden doodle, runs around and joins in on the fun.
Gabby bounces the volleyball, seeing how long she can keep it in the air. In addition to playing volleyball, she also did dance, softball, and other sports throughout her life.
Ryan grabs the volleyball and tosses it to Georgia, eager to play with everyone. Georgia prepares to leap up to bounce the ball on her nose.
Georgia jumps up and hits Gabbys volleyball with her nose, bouncing it into the air. Gabby watches as Ryan and Georgia play with her volleyball, which she has had since high school.
Makalah's dog, Carti, stays on the sidelines while everyone plays. Georgia makes her way back to the sidelines as well to cool off after jumping around.
Tired from bouncing the volleyball, Gabby makes her way to the Dr. Pepper cornhole boards. A Dr. Pepper lover, she begins a game of cornhole as Georgia comes to investigate.
Ryan grabs some beanbags to toss to Gabby. Georgia, of course, joins in on the fun, going back and forth between Ryan and Gabby's sides.
Sneaky Georgia grabs a beanbag in the middle of Gabby and Ryan's game. Ryan chases her down to keep her from eating the beanbag whole.
Georgia finally drops the beanbag after a long game of chase with Ryan. Makalah and her roommates would consider Georgia and Carti both to be the stars of the show in Burk.
Ryan grabs a few of the cornhole beanbags and begins juggling. After attending a circus camp when he was little, this was a skill he learned that he can still do to this day.
Ryan laughs as his girlfriend throws another bag at him, trying to get him to juggle 4 bags. One too many, though, Ryan laughs as he struggles to juggle them all.
Gabby and Ryan end their time outside with a quick game of darts as Makalah sits on the porch. Gabby walks up to the board to grab a few darts for her to play with.
Aiming for the bullseye, Gabby gives it her best go. Quickly realizing that her aim was off, she steps away from the game.
After Ryan's final aim, he makes the bullseye on the dartboard. In celebration, everyone returns inside after a fun afternoon of backyard sports.
