[PHOTOSTORY: WORKSHIFT] GATA Productions sideline reporter

GATA Productions sideline reporter Skye Taylor (right) talks to her producer, Dakota Guy (left)
They go over the rundown and talk about the sideline hits that Skye has.

It is a hot and humid afternoon as Skye enters J. I Clements Stadium. She prepares for the heat to make the day seem longer.

Skye enters the press box to get her mic and belt pack ready. The Play-By-Play Danny Waugh (left) and Color analyst Blane Baillargeon (middle) joke and laugh about how the game will go.

Skye, Danny and Blane discuss the plan they have for the opening of the broadcast. It's a quick meeting as Skye gets her mic and belt pack ready to go.

She sits on the fence of the sideline. She is getting her final thoughts together and is writing her open down in her notebook.

Skye is on standby as she waits for her cue.
"The open is usually the most stressful part," Skye said.

Due to timing, in baseball, they usually have to pre-record the opening hit, so they don't air during the national anthem. Skye gets her computer ready to follow the game.

She always has her hits standing by. She has sideline hits for both teams and with communication between her and Dakota, they choose the perfect times for Skye to say them during game time.

Skye writes notes of big plays that happen during the game. It is so she can better cater her hits and eventual coaches' interviews.

As the fifth inning approaches, she prepares questions to ask the coaches during their fifth-inning interviews. She uses stats and big play notes to help write her questions.

At the top of the fifth inning, Skye goes on camera with Georgia Southern Head Coach Rodney Hennon. Coach Hennon is always descriptive and long-winded during his interviews so Skye only has time to ask one question.

Skye stands in the dugout during the half inning. A play happens while she is there, so she edits her questions for the away coach.

Skye is on camera again for an interview with South Alabama's Head Coach Mark Calvi. Skye asks him two questions and he responds with very detailed answers.

Again, Skye waits in the dugout for the half inning. She keeps an eye on the game.

As the night goes on, Skye talks to two of the camera operators. The operators, Shane Griffith (left) and Ryan Barnes (right), trade off the Gimbal camera.

Skye looks up statistics on her computer. The away pitcher is having a career night and Skye does not want to mess any numbers up.

Skye says an off-cam hit towards the end of the game. Sideline off-camera hits are a great way to talk about the personal side of the players.

The player of the game is Georgia Southern's Brady Christman. He won the game for the Eagles with a walk-off home run and in the excitement, his teammates tore his jersey off.

Skye smiles when she gets back to her post. A mix of humor with the craziness that was the end of the game and relief that the game went well for her.

To end her day, Skye once again talked to her producer, Dakota. They discussed how well Skye did and the wild post game interview.
