Don Jacob and one of his workers named Olga are setting up the table for Jacob's Produce at the Sylvania, GA farmer's market. Vendors began setting up around 2 p.m.
Olga is getting more of their products out of the trailer. Jacob's Produce has been coming to the market since it started in 2017.
All of the Jacob's Produce products that need to be kept cool are being taken out of the cooler and put onto the tables. Their boiled peanuts were in the cooler and were the first to sell out.
The vegetables are set out for customers to come grab and purchase. Green beans, squash and tomatoes are the most popular items sold at Jacob's Produce during the summer months.
Joanne Griffin is laying out infographics all about Evergreen Counseling and its services. Griffin is the behavioral health social worker for this counseling business.
Ginger Nevil is putting out herbal glass bottles at her table which is called Sun, Soil and Silver. The bottles contain different herbs to help people battle pain, allergies or other specific ailments.
Opossum Hollow Creations is organizing the door hangers and earrings that they have brought to the market. Each item has been laser cut and engraved.
Engraved wooden signs are sitting out for customers to purchase for themselves or to give as a gift. The door hangers were $20, and the gift card holders were priced at $5 each.
Jennifer Sanders and her son are carrying out stuff from the trunk of her car to use to set up her table. Her business is called Loafin' Around Bakery, and she is known for her sourdough.
Jennifer Sanders is setting out chocolate chip cookies and different flavors of sourdough. Sanders began coming to the market last year.
Rosa Teague is laughing with a few of the other business owners at the market. Teague's table had two options, buying a slice of cake or fixing a sausage dog.
Rosa Teague is propping up her sign about the sausage dogs at her table. Customers were able to customize their sausage dog with the condiments on top.
Rosa Teague's sausage dog combination is heating up in the crockpot before being ready to eat. There were bell peppers, onions, potatoes and sausage all mixed inside of the crockpot.
Linda Newton and Beverly Elmore are carrying boxes full of peaches for their table. Newton is the owner of Ogeechee Peaches.
The peaches are grouped in bags ready for a customer to grab them up. Each box held 6 bags of peaches.
A closer look at the fresh peaches that are set out on the table. Each bag of peaches were $10.
Containers of old fashioned pound cake and lady fingers are set out at Beverly Elmore's table. Elmore owns Beverly Breads but always helps with the Ogeechee Peaches table each week as well.
Many of the vendors are almost fully set up for the market. The Sylvania farmer's market begins at 3 p.m. and ends at 6 p.m.
Customers are beginning to show up and are waiting for the vendors to be done setting up. Even though the market begins officially at 3 p.m., many customers are already there waiting by 2:30 p.m. to ensure they get first pick of all the goods.
