[PHOTOSTORY 2: MOTION] A Daily Routine

Georgia Southern Univerity's weight section at the RAC. The RAC is nearly empty this early in the morning.

Ramon Roberson is shooting behind the 3-point line at the RAC. Ramon comes to the gym weekly to practice playing basketball.


Chris Kalaani is preparing himself before he starts bench pressing. Chris does 10 reps with this amount of weights before he racks them.

Parker Lewis is doing bicep curls with a metal bar. Parker tries to keep a routine when he comes to the gym, that way he can get great results.


Hailey Gardner is doing weighted hip thrust. Hailey is lifting 70 pounds of weighted plates plus a 15-20 pound metal bar.

David Calalams is setting himself up for a bench press. David comes to the RAC weekly to stay in shape and build his muscles.

Roman Roberson is going up for a layup. Ramon practices doing layups before and after his workout.


Hailey Gardner sets up the metal bar with plates. Hailey tries to switch up the different workouts she does when she comes to the RAC.

Chris Kalaani is on the third rep of his bench press set. Chris goes to the RAC multiple times a week to keep in shape.

Parker Lewis is using the bicep curl machine to lift weights. Parker tries to go up on his weight after a few sets.

Ramon Roberson is doing a trick with the basketball. Ramon likes to do tricks with the basketball to keep the game fun.

David Calalams is bench pressing about 50 pounds of weight. David is doing the bench press with his legs crisscrossed which takes this exercise to the next level. 


Hailey Gardner just finished a set of hip thrusts. Her face in this picture expresses the difficulty of the exercise she just finished.


Parker Lewis is taking off the weights from the metal bar. "I always try to remember to put the weights back where they belong."


Hailey Gardner is about to start a new exercise with the cable machine. Hailey is pulling about 40 pounds with the exercise.


Parker Lewis is changing the music on his phone. Parker likes to have a good playlist when working out to keep him engaged.

Hailey Gardner is exercising with dumbells. Hailey likes to lift weights in the gym to tone her muscles.


Two Georgia Southern students are at the RAC workout. They are about to use the bench press machine to lift weights. 



Ramon Roberson is going to get the rebound from his missed shot. By practicing these shots, Ramon is able to get better at playing basketball.


Hailey Gardner is doing step-ups with a kettlebell weight. "My routine is nothing special, I just do what works for me."
