[PHOTOSTORY 2: MOTION] Gym Activities

Shawn Kemp opening the door to Towne Fitness Club. Towne Fitness Club is a local gym in Lagrange Georgia that offers a wide variety of workout equipment. 

Shawn signing in so he can have access to the gym. Towne Fitness creates you a key fob to sign in by scanning it if you decide to become a member. 

Shawn walking upstairs to start his workout routine. Towne Fitness Club has four levels with different equipment on each level.

A sign showing where the class RPM takes place in the gym. RPM is a class Towne Fitness Club does which is considered a spin class.

Shawn using the rowing machine. The rowing machine at Towne Fitness Club works your muscles on your arms, back and legs.

Shawn working out his abs. "This machine is similar to doing crunches for your abs. It works out your core muscles."

Shawn using another machine for your abs. "This machine strengthens your core as well."

Shawn using the elliptical. The elliptical is a form of cardio and also works out your legs and arms as well.

Shawn using a machine that works out your legs. "This machine strengthens your quads which are the front of your thighs."

Shawn taking a quick water break. "As you workout you lose body fluids so you should always replace the fluids by drinking water."

Shawn using a machine similar to a bike. "This machine works your muscles all around. Also this room is where the class called pursuit fitness takes place which is similar to cross-fit."

Shawn using dumb bells. Doing curls with dumb bells workout and strengthen your biceps.

A room for certain classes Towne Fitness Club hosts. This room has a lot of different equipment for people to use that signs up for the pursuit fitness class.

Shawn working out his chest. "Form during this workout is very important so you do not injure yourself."

Shawn strengthening his legs using the leg press. "This workout strengthens your hamstrings, quads and glutes." 

Shawn strengthening his back muscles. "This machine strengthens your back muscles. It is also important to use correct form so you do not pull a muscle or damage one."

Some equipment on the third level of Towne Fitness Club. This machine can work different muscles throughout your body.

Shawn grabbing a quick drink after his workout. "I enjoy to drink a C4 drink after my workout to help my muscles recover."

Shawn exiting the gym. After you are done with your workout you are able to just leave instead of signing out.

Shawn walking to his car after his workout. Towne Fitness Club has curbside parking so you do not have to walk far.
