Savannah State quarterback Jadon Adams displays his throwing motion. Adams has played football since he was four years old.

Adams simulates rolling out of the pocket to evade pass rush. Adams says he decided to attend Savannah State because the location of the school awarded him the opportunity to play in front of his hometown and they were the first school to offer him a scholarship.

Adams gears up to throw a pass. "My mechanics as a thrower is more of an unorthodox style being that I can deliver a throw without my feet being set, sidearm, or just a normal motion," Adams said.

Adams runs with the ball. "I would describe my play style as electric, you never know if I'm going to throw, run or hand the ball off on a play-action pass play," Adams said.

The most fun part about playing quarterback is the ability for you to be the playmaker that makes the engine run," Adams said.

that players have to possess.

Adams focuses before dropping back to throw a pass. Adams says a quarterback that is a huge influence on him is NFL quarterback Jalen Hurts, specifically how Hurts breaks down the game, handles the media, and carries himself both on and off the field.

Adams jogs upfield with the ball tucked in his left arm. "Being a dual-threat quarterback puts opposing defenses in a vulnerable position because they have to account for the quarterback as a runner and thrower," Adams said.

Adams fakes a handoff. "I fell in love with the game at a young age and it has blessed me in a lot of ways so I want to continue playing," Adams said.

Adams looks towards the ground. He says one of the most important keys you have to have to play the quarterback position is drive and be willing to take constructive coaching.
