[PHOTOSTORY 2: MOTION] Time to Train, Even in the Rain

 By: Caity Marxsen

Jonathan walks down the fairway to start the second half of the course.
"I like to take it all in when I first get there...there is something so peaceful about this place."

Jonathan stands back to assess what to do next.
"It's all about where your head is."

As he walks up to tee off, he looks to the ground for any angulation.
"One slight curve in the landscape, and that ball is going the total opposite direction."

Putting the head cover on the putter. Time to swap out for the driver.

Jonathan uses the range finder to see the distance to the hole.
"A laser range finder can make all the difference for a good game."

A swing from the fairway leaves this athlete pleased with his shot. This shot helped him make birdy on a par 4.

The driving force behind the swing has to remain controlled at all times. One disruption and your ball is headed for the water.

Following through with the swing helps carry the ball down the fairway. Take a look at that speed!

While the brand may not make a better player, this is the brand of choice for this athlete. "I have always used Titleist, and probably always will."

Jonathan approaches his golf ball.
"It is important to constantly survey the green before attempting a putt."

Another swing caught frozen in the air. It obviously uses some strength to drive the ball.

Jonathan assesses his shot. It ended up going right where he wanted.

Finally made it to the green. Time to take another swing.

Contact is made with the ball. It slowly and strategically moves towards the hole.

A nerve-racking moment for any golfer. Even a short distance can be a challange.

The ball slowly moves closer. The anticipation builds!

Another win for this golfer! This athlete sunk his putt.

Jonathan attended Georgia Southern University. While he did not play for the golf team, he loves representing!

The day starts to come to an end. The game is wrapping up now!

One final drive and the ball heads for the clouds. "It was a successful day, and you better believe I will be back tomorrow. Rain or shine."
