[PHOTOSTORY 3: ADITL] Arby's Management

 By: Austin Carter

Arby's shift manager Trevor Rose clocks in for his afternoon shift. He will be working the closing shift today.

Trevor reads the order screen as he grabs a bag to prepare an order. "Clock in and gotta jump right to it today."

Trevor jokes with his coworker, Jadyn, as she tries to clock in. "I always end up having to clock her in because she finds a way to mess it up."
Trevor clocks Jadyn in. "I don't know how she always manages to do this, it really isn't that hard."

Trevor scoops fries to begin preparing an order. The order is a decent sized one.

Trevor puts on gloves to begin preparing a sandwich. Each sandwich must be prepared while wearing gloves.

Trevor drops bread to be toasted prior to preparing the sandwich. Only certain sandwiches require this extra step.

Trevor scoops another order of fries after finishing preparing the sandwich. "You can't come to Arby's and not get fries."

Trevor prepares the drink to finish the order. The combo meal comes with fries and a drink.

Trevor takes advantage of a pause in customers to wash dishes. He does them as periodically as possible so they don't pile up.

Trevor scrubs the lid to a container. "These things have to really be scrubbed or they start to look cloudy after a while, even if they're clean."

Trevor rinses off the lid. Keeping up with the dishes as much as he does keeps the sink relatively empty.

Trevor washes his hands after finishing the dishes. "I do this more than I do anything else in this place, I'm always washing my hands."

Trevor sweeps up the floor of the kitchen. Keeping the floor free of debris not only keeps it clean, but also prevents tripping or slipping accidents.

Trevor places new stock on the storage shelves. These shelves hold materials until they are needed.

Fry containers are stored on the bottom shelf. Each shelf is home to a different item that is used in the restaurant.

Trevor grabs a trash bag to take to the dumpster. "This isn't supposed to be my job, but it needs to be done regardless so I might as well."

Trevor mutes his drive-thru headset and asks for clarification on a menu item price. Jadyn lets him know the price is $5.

Trevor uses the managerial computer. "I spend too much time back here just doing computer work."

Trevor checks the store stats for the day. This information will show what needs to be improved upon for the remainder of the day.
