Hannah Mapel yanks clothes out of a trash bag. She is in the middle of the process of moving. |
Items sit stacked on each other in the living room. Hannah and her boyfriend are downsizing from their last house, so finding room for everything is not going well. |
Hannah organizes the closet. "With such a small living room, this is going to be just a lot of storage, basically." |
Hannah lifts a sink handle without running water. On top of trying to fit everything in a cramped space, they aren't able to get the water running for at least a few days. |
Dishes and kitchenware sit stacked high on the counter. "Since we can't use the sink right now anyway, might as well use it for storage." |
Salem the puppy sits in his crate surrounded by miscellaneous items. The new pup is having to adjust to very cramped living quarters while his owners struggle to get settled in. |
Hannah opens the back door to let Salem outside to do his business. Navigating the maze of boxes and items to get to the back door is quite a challenge. |
A couch sits facing the wall, overloaded with items. Until the living room is cleared out more, the only place they have to sit is the bed. |
Hannah fiddles with her car. As if moving wasn't hard enough, an overheating car was thrown into the mix as well. |
Hannah unscrews the cap to her car's coolant reservoir. After calling a mechanic, she was instructed to check her vehicle's coolant level. |
Hannah peers into the coolant reservoir. "Oh great, this thing is pretty much bone dry." |
Hannah talks on the phone with a friend while her cat, Jules, looks for attention. Hannah is asking for help moving the last few items she has left since her car is broken down. |
Miscellaneous items sit in the backseat of a car. The help Hannah requested came through. |
Hannah unloads a cooler from a trailer. Another friend with a larger vehicle came by to help with the last few bigger items. |
Hannah unloads a bike from the trailer. "This thing isn't even mine, I should make him get this one himself." |
Hannah re-latches the trailer to keep the ramp closed. "I'm glad I know people that have stuff like this because I wouldn't have been able to get my things moved otherwise." |
Hannah checks the lock on the trailer. She wanted to make sure it was securely attached before it was towed away. |
Items sit on the countertop. More items found their way to the counter after being moved. |
Hannah reads through the internet application. "It was supposed to just transfer, but now we have to get a tech out here to install it again." |
Hannah writes down damages to the house that were observed prior to moving in. "Gotta make sure to get them all written down because I do not plan on paying for damages that weren't my fault." |
