[PHOTOSTORY 2: MOTION] Exercise at Lakeshore Park

 By Aidan Stacy

Lakeshore park has a lot of spots for kids to play. Here is Evie Kennedy walking across the monkey bars.

Still on the monkey bars, Evie has progressed a little further. Here she is swinging, about to make it across.

The swings are a popular attraction at the park. Here is Nate Kennedy hopping on.

Here is Nate after swinging a little higher. He is cheesing at the camera showing how much fun he is having.

Parks aren't always about swings and slides. Here is Evie doing cartwheeles in the grass.

Rope climbing requires some strength and skill. Here is Nate reaching the top of the rope net.

Slides are a fun part of going to the park. Here is Emma about to push off.

Here Emma goes down the slide. She is gaining speed around the corner.

She made it to the bottom. Here Emma is slowing down at the end of the slide.

After reaching the end, there are more difficult, but also fun ways to get back to the top. Here Emma is
turning around and climbing back up the slide.

Here are Emma and Nate swinging around on another piece of equipment. They are swinging round and round trying to keep their grip.

The two made it around a lap. Nate is losing his grip and is starting to fall.

Here is Nate back on the swing. On the swing next to him is his mom, Jodi watching him jump off after reaching a high enough height.

This is the aftermath of the jump off of the swing. Here is Nate landing on all fours.

This piece of equipment is meant to seat multiple people to swing. Here Emma is independently swinging on it.

The zip line is one of the newest and most popular pieces of equipment at Lakeshore Park. Here is Emma going down the fastest part of downward slope.

The zip line slope flattens out so it can slow down. Here Emma is, smiling after slowing down.

The soccer players in the background lost one of their balls. Here is Nate going to kick it back to them.

On the way out of the park, a track is on the way to the parking lot. Here is Nate and Emma's cousin Maddy, racing them.

Here they are a few yards later. Maddy takes the lead.
