| Abby is checking me in to tan. "I usually ask people for their last name but you come in here too much so I know yours by heart." |

| Abby is going to clean a tanning bed that just got used. She has to do this immediately when someone gets out of the bed or else the sweat will get stuck in the porous acrylic on the bed. |

| Abby is cleaning the tanning bed. "This is my least favorite part of my job, considering I clean up people's sweat for a living." |
 |
| It hit 7 pm so Abby is starting her closing duties and sweeping. "We had a vacuum but I walked in one day and it was gone." |
 |
| Abby is handing me a customer survey form to fill out. "You are here all the time so we must be doing something right. Fill this out." |
 |
| Abby is mopping the salon. Employees here are required to mop every other day. |
 |
| Abby is checking the spray tan solution for the opener tomorrow morning. "This stuff is constantly staining my hands. It looks like I have been playing in dirt." |
 |
| Abby is restocking the hairnets in the spray tan room. Apparently hairnets are scarce right now and they sometimes have to use trash bags. |
 |
| Abby is organizing and straightening the lotions. "This one is my favorite, it's called Coral Colada." |
 |
| Abby is putting the towels in the dryer. "This dryer doesn't really work so we have to run it like five times." |
 |
| Abby is putting away new client information into the binders. Employees do this daily at the salon so everything is up to date. |
 |
| Abby is turning the thermostat up to 80 degrees. "It is already 77 degrees in here I don't know why we have to make it even hotter." |

| Abby is putting more tanning stickers in the jar. "At this point I am just killing time because I have nothing left to do." |
 |
| Abby is putting the cleaning towels in the dirty clothes bin. "I am really OCD and have to make sure all the towels are in one laundry basket when I close since we have two." |

| Abby is pulling down lotions for me to smell so I can see what I want to buy next. It is best to use white lotions in the higher level tanning beds and darker lotions in the lower levels. |

| Abby is closing the cash register and filling out the end of shift report. "We are supposed to wait until we are closed to do this but I like to get out of here as soon as I can." |

| Abby is answering a phone call asking what time the salon closes, five minutes before the salon closes. "I honestly don't know why I even answer them when we close in literally five minutes." |

| Abby is locking the doors to the salon since it hit 8 pm. "This is the best part of my day. Closing time." |
 |
| Abby is turning off the open sign to the salon. "This has fallen on me so many times, maybe it will do it now and you can get an action shot." |
 |
| Abby is setting the alarm system to the salon. She has to set the alarm and then run out considering she only has 30 seconds until it is active. |
