I met Makenna at the State Botanical Garden in Athens,Ga. I saw her at a spot in the garden when I took some pictures had a chat with her about her life. She told me she vists the garden very often, she enjoys crocheting, and she even says her safe space is her car. She is a rising junior at Xavier University in New Orleans.
