 By: Salena Manies

A turtle is resting out of the lake. This lake is filled with different sizes and types of turtles such as snapping turtles.

This lake is an average lake. Not only does this lake have turtles, but it also has fish, frogs and lizards.

Yami Patterson is watching the turtles come to surface. "I come to the park every week because I enjoy the outdoors."

Mill Creek Park has long trails to walk and run. It is also right next to Splash in the Boro water park which also encompasses an aquatic center for kids and adults who enjoy water.

Harry Campbell is cutting grass at the park. Harry works at Mill Creek everyday and stated "I love cutting grass, it's something I enjoy doing."

Canon Pedigen (on the left) is resting and talking as he continues to mow the lawn. He is the assistant manager of the park and he has been doing it for over 20 years.

Mark Stringer (on the right) is resting and talking as well as he continues to paint the boxes and lines on the fields. He paints for the state tournaments and has been a supervisor at the park for over a decade.

This is a sign of the the many sports complexes that the park has. It encompasses the sports of soccer, tennis, softball and baseball.

Pattie Sanders is relaxing and supervising her granddaughter on the playground. She comes out twice a week to read and enjoy in her words "God's creation."

Shauna Knight is taking her four kids to the playground. Even though she lives 30 minutes away she comes to the park every week to allow her kids to enjoy "being little."

Cole Morris is driving this mini machine truck full of dirt. This was his first day on the job delivering the dirt to the complex fields.

This a view of the tennis complex. This complex has four tennis courts for people to play and enjoy.

This is a view of the front entrance of the Splash in the Boro. It was packed with kids of all ages and adults to enjoy the water slides and pools.

Carolyn Smith is sitting with her grandchildren before they enter into the waterpark. She brought her grandchildren to have fun and cool off.

The walking trail is never as packed as the waterpark during the summer. Splash in the Boro's parking lot was full with no parking spots left.

Naomi Chusorpin is working at the front booth to give tickets for the waterpark. She took this job to help her pay for college tuition and to help her gain customer service experience.

Anna Weeber is enjoying the park with her granddaughter. She loves nature but specifically the lake full of turtles.

The Park has some amazing scenery. As the water park and the beautiful trees are shown in the background, it is view of the lake that catches the eye.

Trey Bosh is unloading the car with things for his food truck at the park. His truck is called "Me so Hungry" that sells different types of snacks to sell to people.

The park is fun and has many things to enjoy. The park enforced many safety rules in all areas to keep people safe.
