[ PHOTOSTORY 1: OUTDOORS ] A Day at Splash in the Boro

 By: Kyle Arnold

Brandi feeding one of the children a cold snack. This was the first time she has ever been to Splash in the Boro with her family.

A number of children floating around in the pool. All of the kids splashed around with each other while their parents watched.

A family floating through the lazy river. The lazy river floats throughout the front section of the waterpark.

A boy getting water dumped on his head. The buckets up above fill with water from the pipes and flip over on the people that float by.

Another family floating boy on the lazy river. The smaller children have to be accompanied by someone else in the same floaty.

A boy under a large downpour of water in the river. The children enjoy getting the water dumped on them.

A boy hanging from the ropes trying to get to the other side. The children try their hardest to not fall into the water below.

Another boy hanging, trying to get to the other side. The children can get very competitive and try to race each other to the other side.

Allison relaxing on one of the chairs near the water. This was her first time at Splash in the Boro and took advantage of her day off to finally give it a try with her family.

Kayla relaxing with her two kids while eating something cold. Kayla likes to bring the kids to Splash in the Boro because they need the sun and exercise.

Tommy listening to a young boy decide on which slide he wants to go on. Tommy is 16 years old and is a slide attendant for Splash in the Boro as a summer job.

Brothers Logan and Lawson hanging out in the wave pool. Their mother, Darien says that coming to Splash in the Boro is easily the best part of the boys' summer.

A number of people hanging out in the deeper end of the wave pool. People in the wave pool love to battle against the waves in any way possible.

A father and mother relaxing in the shallow part of the wave pool with their sons. It would seem that the wave pool is where adults go the most if they want to enter the water.

A lifeguard on duty watching over the wave pool. They ensure the safety of everyone at Splash in the Boro.

A boy on a board in the surf wave simulator. This is very popular in the waterpark and some lines forming.

A man standing under the constant water fall. There are a lot of ways to fight against the summer heat.

Avery reading a book at her Georgia Ice stand. She works for Georgia Ice as a summer job and reads a book whenever business gets slow.

A girl eating shaved ice she had just received from the shaved ice stand. The stand provides cold snacks to keep everyone at the water park cool.

Samantha (right) leaving Splash in the Boro with her friend and their kids. She said that they go to Splash in the Boro three to four times a month to keep the kids busy.
