[PHOTOSTORY 2: MOTION] GREENJACKETS GAME NIGHT

The Augusta Green Jackets baseball team does a warm up run. They begin every game with a warm-up stretch and run. 

Charleston Riverdogs Catcher Enderson Delgado practices catching balls with a pitching machine. The machine he uses to practice pitches balls up to 75 mph. 

Both the home and away teams line the feild for the national anthem. The national anthem was sung by Natalie Prickle on this night.

Outfielder Isiah Drake and the rest of the starting line-up are called onto the feild. Isiah Drake is the youngest outfeilder on the team at 18 years old.

Charleston Riverdogs fan Tyler Sealy gives Rauldelis Martinez a pre-game good-luck fist bump. Martinez is originally from Santa Clara, Cuba, but was recruited to play baseball in Charelston in 2023.

The Augusta Greenjackets catcher Harry Owen shakes hands with the home plate umpire Frank Jones. Owen is one of the three catchers for the Greenjackets.

Riverdogs player Adrian Santana is first up to bat. Santana struck out for the first out of the game.

Greenjackets player LJ McDonough throws the opening pitch. McDonough went on to get his second pitching win of the year.
 
Greenjackets players Adam meir and Davis Polo share a pep talk moment. Communicating with your teammates makes all the difference as can layer be seen in the final score of the game.


Greenjackets player Luis Sanchez is up to bat. Sanchez later scored a home run or a wild pitch in the 7th inning.

Brandon Miller plays tire game put on by Bridgestone tires in between innings. He won the race against the other player Bryson Ollander.

Riverdogs player Wooyeul Shin crouches in the infeild by second base. Shin is originally from Seoul, Republic of Korea.

Noah Markel, Steven Elovich, and Levi Shackleton drag the feild following the fifth inning. The Greenjackets' drag team also does a dance show along with dragging the feild.

Riverdogs players faces show how their feelings after a quick strike out. They are down by two at this point in the game.

Riverdogs pitcher Gary Hill takes the mound for the top of the sixth inning. Hill winds up for a pitch.

Greenjackets third base coach Wes McGuire directs his players on the feild. McGuire led three players home during this game for a win.
Greenjackets catcher Jose Marcano lifts his mask to blow a bubble. Marcano continuosly lifted his mask during the game to spit and blow bubble gum.

Greenjacket mascot Auggie pumps up the crowd. He shakes his stinger at the crowd to get them rowdy.




Greenjackets player Kade Kern hits the game winning home run. The greenjackets win the game against the Riverdogs 3-1.

Lorelei Culbreth and her friends from her campus ministries group clebrate the Greenjackets win. The Greenjackets game is just one of the many events her campus ministry group has planned for this summer.
