Becca runs forward to return the shot during their casual pickleball game in their driveway. The ball is suspended in midair as the match begins to unfold.
Roommate, Olivia Holland, emerges from the home to watch the friendly pickleball game played by Becca and Taylor. The portable net turns the driveway into an impromptu court for the residents of Burkhalter Plantation.
Becca and Taylor decided to take a break in between matches. Two pickleball paddles lay at rest on the grass marking a pause in play during the game.
Becca resumes the match with a great serve to the other player, Taylor. With a concentrated strike, Becca continues the game.
After Becca Borel serves the ball, Jax, her dog makes an appearance into the shot. Jax playfully joins into the game to chase the ball back in forth between shots.
Taylor Hevesy continues their match in the Burkhalter Plantation neighborhood. She stares at the pickleball with concentration before she serves the ball.
Taylor Hevesy leaps forward as she strikes the ball in the air. She follows through with her arm to hit the ball at the perfect time.
After Taylor swings her right arm to hit the ball, she stares concentrated on where the ball will follow. She has a dialed in look as she stays in the pickleball zone.
The portable pickleball net makes a great driveway game among the Burkhalter Plantation neighborhood. The longer shadows beyond the net mark the time as late in the afternoon day.
Jax walks away from the net as his owner, Becca, stares at him with curiosity. Jax carries around the pickleball so the girls are unable to resume their game.
Olivia Holland observes Jax as he chomps onto the pickleball. She lounges on the sidelines as the afternoon sun shines brightly onto the side of her face.
The shadows reflect Jax jumping to grab the ball as his owner, Becca, tosses it in the air. The moment captures a brief pause in the game.
Taylor cheerfully jogs to return the ball that was once previously tossed to Jax. Becca waits across the net as her opponent retrieves the ball.

Becca aims the ball toward Taylor and Jax perks up on the other side of the net ready to chase. The game shifts from competition to casual play.
Jax focuses in on the ball and continues to run through the matches. His shadow mirrors his every movement, imitating his actions in the photo.
Wrapping up the game, Becca collects the paddles and balls. She walks briskfully away from the driveway that was once a court.
Jax lays on the sideline chewing a pickleball after the play has ended. He lingers on the court as the afternoon light fades.
Becca walks off the court barefoot, paddle in hand, after finishing their afternoon game of pickleball. Long shadows stretch across the pavement as the neighborhood settles back into quiet.
