A breeze settles across campus, and the faint sound of music floats across the rotunda. The org fair participants start to set up their tables.
The wing ruffles the hair on this inflatable. He greets the people who are setting up their tables.
Some tables still await their organization to arrive and decorate. At the same time, the club women's hockey teams set up their goalie sticks and jerseys.
Alpha Omicron Pi was just one of the many Greek life tables that were setting up before the fair. Lila Martin, a sophomore psychology major, says that “I'm out here for my sorority, and answering questions people may have about.”
More tables begin to fill up with organizations ready to get their word out. The volume of the area begins to rise of more and more people arrive.

Ben and Zoe, full time interns at Christian Campus Fellowship, pose for another picture. Ben says “Just here tp to spread the news that there are ministries here at southern.”
A sign sticks out above the crowd. A simple question meant to draw in those who can answer it.
Hayden Reeves, a graduate student in the history department, stops at the table for mechanical engineering. When asked why he stayed at GSU for his masters, he says “I really felt comfortable sticking with the program I knew, with the professors I knew.”
Two boys from the club lacrosse team laugh as one of them tells a joke. They are at the fair to encourage people to join the team.
Brendan Lightsey and Connor Ferguson from the GSU lacrosse team try to bring in possible players. Lightsey says “ This year we've had the most we have ever had recruitment wise, but more the merrier.”
John Wright, an anchor for your newsroom, is eager to answer any questions from students who have an interest in student media. “ We cover a lot of things,” he says “basically just keeping the students informed.”
Chi Omega, is another one of the greek life tables at the fair. Their table shows off their sisterhood and colors, while the girls answer questions from possible new members.
As the fair gets busy, the tables get more and more crowded with interested students. Music, laughter, and conversation fill the air.
Even students just trying to get to class get caught in the chaos. The students navigate the dozens of tables and large groups of other students to continue with their day.
Coleman Kelly and Henry McCann, members of the Delta Chi fraternity advertise their fraternity to students. “Our whole fraternity is about our core values of leadership, buildings character and just pushing that message,” they explain.

The Beta Upsilon Chi fraternity is also at the fair. Brody Harris, Connor Wilson, and Evan Suff explain the role of BYX. “ We have christian values, so were offering an alternative to the present fraternal lifestyle,” Harris explains.
Another christian fellowship was at the fair. Emeraid Nix, who works for the fellowship says “ Our goal is to just love Jesus and make Jesus known here at Georgia Southern.”
At the height of the fair, the amount of students is overwhelming. The students on campus got to learn and talk to many different organizations that they may be interested in joining.
