[PHOTOSTORY1: OUTDOORS] VINTAGE MARKET

By: William McCranie

The Statesboro Vintage Market is in full swing at Two Story Books and Coffeehouse. People are here to buy and sell vintage and homemade goods.

Hayden Pointer is a vendor at the market. He is bundled up hoping to make a sale in the cold weather.

Hayden has this Motley Crue band T-shirt front and center. He had to leave the market early and was looking to sell his highest ticket items early.

Jeremy is another vendor at the market and is a junior here at Georgia Southern. His favorite South Park character is Kenny, who unfortunately doesn't make it.

One of the vendors selling crafts is Kylie Beepath, who makes homemade jewelry. She hopes to build up her business to do full-time.

One booth that stands out is Midnight Menagerie. Their booth was a little different by having upcycled clothes made by Hillary Jeffers.

The Midnight Menagerie booth doesn't just have clothes either. There were handmade crafts like these crowns and wands.

Clothes and crafts aren't the only things being sold. One vendor was selling belt buckles as well and said he had a good bit more when the day started.

Many people are also trying to sell off some sneakers. The vendor for this booth explained that shoes and sneakers are usually one of the hardest things to sell at these markets.

Braden Rodgers is really thinking about buying these Jordan Ones. Unfortunately, they did not fit when he tried them on.

Ocho is standing in front of his booth watching his customers. He is the owner of Duffleboy Vntg and does markets like this one frequently.

This is Ocho's booth, where he has one of his higher-quality T-shirts on display. It is a graphic of Tony Montana from the movie Scarface that has pendants for the jewelry Tony Montana is wearing.

Gale Higdon is showing off her fully vintage and retro outfit. She was wearing three skirts along with the oversized clock face around her shoulder.

Many of the booths have team wear, including jerseys, sweatshirts, and T-shirts. Georgia Southern was showcased very well throughout the market, including this T-shirt.

Some stylish guys looking through jerseys for hockey and football teams. One just bought a full-length canvas coat that he was very excited for.

Showing off her new Nike Dunks and a pair of jeans she just bought to her friends. The owner of the booth, Jackson Williams, gave her a good deal for buying a couple of items from him.

Digging through the $5 bin looking for something that catches her eye. Many of the booths have $5 bins where customers can look through some of the items that aren't good enough to be on the racks.

The Great Catsby is getting a lot of love from the customers. He was garnering the most attention from shoppers looking to give him pets.

The Great Catsby is enjoying some lunch. He has a food and water bowl on the back porch of Two Story Books and Coffeehouse.

The Great Catsby isn't the only animal enjoying the event. This little pup was having the time of her life getting pushed around in a stroller.
