[PHOTOSTORY 1: OUTDOORS] Field workers Raking Pine Straw

The field where workers rake the pine straw. This field is about 3 acre and has about 45 rows.
Workers traveling down the row going to where they left off at. They sometimes have to use the farm equipment or go by foot.
Farm equipment in the workers vehicle. Workers have to carry these long rakes along with their lunch and other necessities they carry for the work day.

The rake the workers have to use. The farm equipment the workers have to use sometimes is made out of an old rake handle and pvc pipe with duct tape. 

Worker carrying her equipment to where she last left off. While walking workers have to be careful of hidden snakes.

A worker picking up sticks. Before the workers can rake the straw they have to make sure the aisle is clean of sticks, pinecones, and other trash.

Worker going to the next to row to make a pile of sticks. Workers make piles of sticks down the rows so when they can later pick up before the raking.

A bale of pine straw. This bale of pine straw weighs about 25 pounds.

Bales of pine straws all through out the rows. The bales are left to be picked up.

Bales of straw in a pile. Bales of straw are made into piles, so then to be made easier to be picked up.

Worker ready to load bales of straw onto truck. This little truck is used to drive down the rows to pick up the bales.

Working loading bales of straw. The back of the truck was removed and replaced with a pallet so more bales could fit on it.

The trailer of a semi is parked out front. After all the bales of straw are picked up, they are then stored into the trailer.

Bales of straw packed into the trailer. About 800 of bales of straw can fit into the trailer.
