[PHOTOSTORY 1: OUTDOORS] Saturday at The Statesboro Mainstreet Farmers Market

The Statesboro Mainstreet Farmers Market venue. The market is open every Saturday from April to November from 9a.m. to 12:30p.m.



The farmers market welcomes attendees with a directional infographic at one of the side entrances. The Statesboro Mainstreet Farmers Market has a variety of vendors from natural bee honey, sweets, organic produce, flowers, dog accessories and more.



This is a list of all the vendors at today’s farmers market. The farmers market is celebrating World Bee Day by buzzing about vendors who offer honey, flowers, plants and other pollinator friendly products or bee-themed specials. 


Jennifer Kimbrell, RIGHT, means bees-ness whilst talking to a potential honey buyer. She is the owner of Just Honey that makes natural honey at Humble Bumble Bee Farm in Statesboro, Georgia.



Michelle Walker, LEFT, and Levoyn Walker, RIGHT, are serving some of their delicious Caribbean food. Caribbean Feast is a family-owned local business that serves authentic Caribbean food.



Caribbean Feast’s signature patties are staying warm. They offer beef, curry chicken and spinach and cheese patties for only $4 or three patties for $7.



Ricardo Gaspar, LEFT, is assembling bags of fresh produce for customers.  Gaspar of Poor Robin Gardens out of Sylvania, Georgia is at The Statesboro Farmers Market every Saturday.



Attendees enjoying the weather while kids are playing and running around. The farmers market offers plenty of seating with games like cornhole and books, activities and toys for kids.



Rosie Snead is patiently waiting for customers as they walk in. She is the owner of Cakes by Rosie and WAGZ which sells homemade dog “bisquits.”  



Glen Haynes is chatting with customer. Haynes is the owner of The Potting Cart which offers a variety of different plants and offers helpful tips on how to take care of them.

 



Colby Gibbs is steady making her handmade jewelry. Gibbs offers customized jewelry that you can order and pick up while you’re at the farmers market.



Barbara Barr is blowing bubbles. Barr is the owner of Beads By Barbara. 

 



Beads By Barbara has her custom handmade zodiac bracelets on display. Barr has a variety of custom handmade bead products like necklaces, bracelets, earrings and even dog necklaces. 



Belinda Babbin is giving change to her customers. Babbin is the owner and founder of Legacy Family Farms located in Statesboro, Georgia. Legacy Family Farms specializes in microgreens.



Fresh spicy salad mix microgreens were freshly cut for customers. Legacy Family Farms offer over 100 different types of microgreens. 




Mary Hansen is informing a customer about Lite Foot Company’s natural made and organic products. Lite Foot Company was created to help people make more sustainable choices together to have a major impact on the health of our planet.

Jean James merchant cashier, RIGHT, and Willow Farmer market manager, LEFT are casually mingling after looking around the market. Willow Famer is a force to bee reckoned with, with her bee costume in honor of World Bee Day.



Tyler Hawkin helping customer find her pup needs. Personalized Dog Bandanas have a variety of options with them at the market or you can order any design online.




Employees of the of Hunter Cattle Company are informing customers about their specials. Hunter Cattle Co. prides itself on its reputation as a sustainable family farm dedicated to animal welfare and creating the highest quality products for both ‘better flavor and better nutrition.’



A variety of flower bouquets decorates the entrance of the market. WilMor Farms always offers beautiful flower bouquets every Saturday highlighting one specific flower each week.
